"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reference. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our saviour, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

It's only a small section but it's an awesome passage of scripture!
In a post I wrote a few weeks ago I mentioned what a privilege it is to be able to pray, and it is a HUGE privilege, but it is also a responsibility we have.
Your friends that you want to have a relationship with God, pray for them. The politicians that are in positions of importance and power in your country, pray for them. Pray for the protection and safety of the royalty, and give thanks to God for all He's doing and has done.
God wants ALL men to be saved, so pray to God on the behalf of all people, so that as many as possible can know what a full and awesome life they can live in knowing Christ Jesus.
